WL Weller Launches Pair Of Bourbons
Buffalo Trace Distillery has released a pair of wheated bourbons – the second edition of Weller Millennium and WL Weller 18 Years Old – the latter being their oldest age statement ever for the wheated bourbons, which are named after William Larue Weller.
Weller Millennium Second Edition is a blend of vintage straight wheated bourbon and wheat whiskies, bottled at 49.5% alcohol by volume [99 proof] and is said to contain notes of butterscotch, dark cherry and vanilla.
Weller Millennium Second Edition is being made available worldwide for $7,500 per decanter.
Additionally, WL Weller 18 Years Old is bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to contain notes of pear, spice and tobacco.
WL Weller 18 is being made available exclusively in global travel retail (GTR) at airports for $500 per decanter.
