Four Roses Bolsters Bourbon Barrel Collection
Four Roses Bourbon has bolstered their Single Barrel Collection with the release of the second installment of bourbons focused on the distillery’s 10 unique bourbon recipes.
The newest additions to the rotating Four Roses Single Barrel Collection showcases three of the Four Roses’ 10 recipes – specifically the recipes which have been dubbed OESQ, OESF and OBSK – each has been aged for seven to nine years and bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof].
Four Roses OESQ carries a mash bill consisting of 20% rye, uses the Floral Essence yeast strain and is said to contain notes of The caramel, honey, light oak and vanilla.
Four Roses OESF also has a 20% rye mash bill but uses the Herbal Note yeast strain and is said to offer notes of clove, mint, oak and vanilla.
Four Roses OBSK ups the game with a mash bill of 35% rye and the Slight Spice yeast strain and is said to offer notes of cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla.
All three Four Roses Single Barrel Collection bourbons are being made available for $50 per bottle.
