Mexico-based Modelo beer is preparing for the upcoming FIFA World Cup while emphasizing that it is the “cerveza for futbol”.
The newest promotional campaign, entitled ”Best Seat in the House” runs across the USA and is set to air during 104 Spanish-language matches with Modelo sponsoring every pre-match broadcast on NBC-owned Telemundo.
The promotional campaign features futbol stars Edson Álvarez, Raúl Jiménez, Diego Luna, David Ospina and Raphinha while collaborating with Italian sportwear brand Kappa to provide fútbol kits that are available on ModeloUSA.com while supplies last.
Additionally, Modelo has a custom Latino-themed ball featured on the packaging for 12-and 24-packs of Modelo Especial and Modelo Negra – both of which contain a QR code to enter a sweepstakes to win a “watch party experience” and merchandise.
