60-Year-Old Single Grain Whisky Emerges From The Last Drop
The Last Drop Distillers has a pair of new releases – including a 60-year-old single grain Scotch whisky from the now-closed Lowland-based Carsebridge Distillery in Scotland. The Last Drop 2026 Collection is comprised of Release No.41, a 25-year-old Trinidad rum and Release No.42, the aforementioned 60-year-old single grain Scotch whisky from Carsebridge.
Carsebridge Distillery closed in 1983 and has since been demolished, but back in the day, Carsebridge Distillery was known for its grain whisky.
The Last Drop 60-year-old Carsebridge was bottled at 42.4% alcohol by volume [84.8 proof] and is said to produce notes of almonds, clove, crème brûlée, and toffee.
Only a mere 140 bottles of The Last Drop 60-year-old Carsebridge are being made available for $5,030 per bottle.
