Old Pulteney Celebrates Anniversary With 10-Year-Old
Old Pulteney is celebrating their 200th anniversary this year and has released a 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky to commemorate the occasion.
The Old Pulteney 200th Anniversary Distillery Exclusive was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, secondarily matured in ex-Manzanilla and ex-Oloroso casks, bottled at 48% alcohol by volume [96 proof] and is said to offer notes of cinnamon, citrus and vanilla.
The Old Pulteney 200th Anniversary Distillery Exclusive is being made available from Old Pulteney’s official website for $135 per bottle.
Additionally, on the day of their anniversary – June 20 – Old Pulteney will open their distillery to local residents for a complimentary Highball, tasting, live music, a goody bag and a 45-minute tour of the distillery.
The amount of visitors will be restricted and local residents interested in participating can register for the event on Old Pulteney’s website.
