Aberfeldy Reveals White Port Cask 24-Year-Old
Highland-based Aberfeldy Distillery has released a 24-year-old single malt whisky which has spent some time maturing in white Port casks as the most recent addition to their Exceptional Cask Series.
Aberfeldy 24 Year Old White Port Double Cask was matured in white Port casks, bottled at 50.7% alcohol by volume [101.4 proof] and is said to offer enticing notes of citrus, honey and stone fruits.
Only a mere 252 bottles of Aberfeldy 24 Year Old White Port Double Cask are being made available for $465 per 700ml bottle exclusively at the distillery or via the official Aberfeldy website – visitors to the Aberfeldy distillery will also be able to order the new limited-edition single malt for $17 per dram.
