Redwood Empire Debuts The Hyperion

Sonoma, California-based Redwood Empire has released The Hyperion – a one-off blend of bourbon, rye, wheat whiskey and Redwood Empire’s own single malt.

Specifically, Redwood Empire’s The Hyperion Inaugural Batch 001 consists of 32% bourbon, 30% rye whiskey, 25% wheat whiskey and 13% single malt [with the first three originating from distilleries in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, each aged between 7 and 14 years] then were combined and bottled between 110 and 120 proof [55-to-60% alcohol by volume] and is said to contain notes of apricots, pomegranate and walnuts.

Redwood Empire’s The Hyperion Inaugural Batch 001 is being made available either directly from the Redwood Empire distillery or in select locations in the USA for $100 per 750ml bottle.
