Ampersand Distillery Company is a Canadian family craft distillery in Cowichan Valley, British Columbia. It was founded by a father-son partnership between Stephen and Jeremy Schacht. The partners have used their experience along with traditional distilling techniques to design unique spirits concluding vodkas.
Even though it is known for its Vodka, the company is most proud of its main product, Gin. A statement on its website declares: ‘Ampersand Gin is our flagship product, an award-winning instant classic, that brings together BC-grown wheat with seven cultivated or wild-harvested botanicals and our own spring water.’
Ampersand Distillery was founded in 2014 and bases its spirits on organic wheat. The company runs a five-acre farm on which it produces the ingredients for its beverages. The addition of the Whisky & Lime and the Whisky Dry & Lime will solidify its place as an emerging market leader.
