Auchentoshan Promised Virgin Oak

Auchentoshan – Scotland’s only triple-distilled single malt Scotch whisky – has unveiled a limited edition called Auchentoshan Virgin Oak, which has been aged in North American virgin oak casks that have never been touched by another liquid spirit. While tradition maintains that Scotch whisky be aged in casks that formerly held bourbon or sherry – Auchentoshan has put its triple distilled spirits in the virgin North American oak casks to produce an orange color with spiced apple flavor notes.
