Laphroaig: There’s Something In It

Laphroaig launched its first-ever video advertising campaign this week called “Opinions Welcome” in which nine supposedly non-coached people provided their candid opinions of the fabled whisky but, for our money, it should have been entitled with the words of one of the taste test participants [“There’s Something In It”]. For the record, the list of what the nine people think Laphroaig tastes like includes iodine, pee, cream, freshly cracked pepper, seaweed, smoked fish, tar and smells like damp dog, tree bark, bacon, cows, ancient woodlands, rugged mountains and seagull’s armpits…
