Louisville, Kentucky-based Michter’s Distillery has released a pair of single barrel limited edition rye whiskies – Michter’s 10 Year Rye and Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Rye.
Michter’s 10 Year Rye was bottled at 46.4% alcohol by volume [92.8 proof] and touts notes of almonds, citrus, toffee and vanilla.
Michter‘s 10 Year Rye is being made available in the USA beginning in July 2021 for $170 per 750ml bottle.
Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Rye was bottled at 55.1% alcohol by volume [110.2 proof] and flaunts notes of butterscotch, caramel, cinnamon, cherries and toasted vanilla.
Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Rye is being made available in the UK later in 2021 for $135 per bottle.
