Campbeltown distiller Glen Scotia has released a 30 Year Old sherry cask-matured single malt whisky. Glen Scotia 30 Year Old was aged in European oak hogshead sherry casks, bottled at 50.8% alcohol by volume [101.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of cinnamon, coffee, dark chocolate, lavender and violet. Only 500 bottles of Glen Scotia 30 Year Old are being made available for $1,100 per 700ml bottle.

Speyside distillery Glen Moray has released their Sauternes Cask Matured whisky. Glen Moray Sauternes Cask Matured is a 14-year-old whisky matured in five sweet Sauternes wine casks, bottled at 59.6% alcohol by volume [119.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, dark chocolate, Seville orange and spice. Only 1,248 bottles of Glen Moray Sauternes Cask Matured whisky are being made available for $105 per 700ml bottle.
