New Orleans-based Sazerac has purchased the Paul Masson Grande Amber Brandy brand, related inventory and interests in certain contracts from New York-based Constellation Brands for a reported $255 million. The deal is reportedly expected to close this month (January 2021). Sazerac adds a middle/low-end brandy while Constellation Brands’ remaining spirits portfolio includes High West Whiskey.
