Finland’s Teerenpeli Distillery will release a 10-Year-Old single malt whisky – made from local barley, glacial water and Finnish peat – and bottled at 43% alcohol content [86 proof]. Teerenpeli 10-Year-Old Whisky was aged in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Fittingly, Teerenpeli will launch on the 10th day of the 10th month – October 10, 2015.

A new Speyside single malt Scotch whisky was revealed from Shieldaig as well as a cinnamon-flavored whiskey called Rocket Cat. The single malt Shieldaig [“Loch of the Herring” in Norse] is bottled at 40% alcohol content [80 proof] while the Rocket Cat is bottled at 34% alcohol content [68 proof].
