Islay distillery, Bowmore, has launched Bowmore Small Batch, a single malt Scotch whisky matured in both first and second-fill ex-bourbon casks. The first-fill former bourbon casks lend a vanilla and spice essence to the whisky while the second-fill bourbon cask adds fruit, salt and honey notes to the whisky. Bowmore Small Batch is now available for $40 per 750ml bottle.
