Whisky Live Returns to Hong Kong
The Whisky Live tasting show will be opened to the public this October after years of private hosting. The program which allows the public to try over 500 whiskies will re-open its doors this year.
The last Whisky Live Hong Kong was held in 2019 and was hosted as a private tasting last year. This was due to the pandemic that postponed the public whisky festival for years.
The Grand Relaunch of Whisky Live Hong Kong
As usual, visitors will discover hundreds of whiskies from around the world at the event organized by Whisky Magazine. The festival will be held at K11 MUSEA, Tsim Sha Tsui, from October 26 to 28, 2023.
Notably, this event will take place in K11 MUSEA’s Kunsthalle and Sculpture Park on the sixth floor, which features more than 10,000 square feet of area. Guests will enjoy cocktails created by distillers, ambassadors, and mixologists from local cocktail bars.
In addition, this year’s event promises to be unique. It will feature over 500 whiskies from different countries and regions, including Japanese, Irish, and independent bottlings. Whisky enthusiasts will find dedicated booths for rare whiskies.
Furthermore, a variety of entertainment will be provided, including:
- live music performances.
- master classes and cocktail tastings.
- whisky-and-food pairings.
- limited edition whiskies will be available for purchase.
Standard tickets to the Hong Kong Bar Show at Whisky Live provide general admission to the bar show, where guests can redeem three cocktails, listen to live music, and sample food. Early-bird discounts are available until October 15.
There are day passes and full-day passes available for $300 to $1,080, which grant admission to the show. Visitors will enjoy free drams, tasting tokens, and entry to the Hong Kong Bar Show.
Moreover, all guests will receive a lifetime souvenir that they can treasure from this year’s whisky festival. Each visitor will be honored with a Whisky Live whisky tasting glass. The hosts are expecting a large turnout at the relaunch of the show.
