Glengoyne Reveals 50-Year-Old Scotch Whisky

Glengoyne has released a 50-Year-Old Scotch whisky that one lucky person will receive for free [free is a very good price] via online ballot.

The Glengoyne 50 was matured in first-fill oak casks, bottled at 45.8% alcohol by volume [91.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of red apples, cloves, licorice and walnuts.

Only 150 decanters of Glengoyne 50-Year-Old are being made available for $30,000 per decanter – with the exception of one decanter that will be given away to the lucky winner of the online contest.

The online ballot is open to groups of five or more friends or family to submit an entry with a description of their perfect moment for savoring the 50-year-old whisky together next year. Entrants have until December 14, 2020, to submit their moments.
