Tomatin has released a 50-Year-Old single malt whisky – the oldest ever to emerge from the Highland distillery.

The Tomatin 50-Year-Old was finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt before being bottled at 45.3% alcohol by volume [90.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of honey and spice.

Only 70 bottles of Tomatin 50-Year-Old are being made available for $12,675 per 70cl bottle in the UK.
