Glenrothes Releases More Speyside Single Malt Nectar
In 1969, many things happened – some of them you may not have remembered – but what will definitely be remembered this year is the release of The Glenrothes Speyside single malt from that year. Only 133 bottles of the single malt were produced from a refilled hogshead single cask. Coming in at 85.8 proof [42.9% alcohol content], the whisky is encased in a lead crystal decanter from Portuguese crystal masters Atlantis Crystal.
A single bottle of The Glenrothes 1969 will be available this year for $7000 per bottle at the official The Glenrothes site.
