Indri Whisky Wins Big in American Whisky Show
A new award was bestowed upon Indri Single Malt Whisky after being awarded ‘Whisky of the Year’ by the USA Spirits Ratings. Organized by the Beverage Trade Network, the USA Spirits Ratings evaluates spirits according to Quality, Value, and Packaging.
At the 2024 International Whisky Competition, Indri Dru not only secured a spot in the “Top 15 Whiskies of the Year” but also won accolades including
- Single Malt Whisky of the Year
- Best Spirit of the Year by Country
- Gold Medal
- Additionally, Indri Trini earned its own ‘Gold Medal’, further cementing the distillery’s success.
The Indri Dru, crafted by Piccadily Distilleries, sets itself apart from a competitive field of international and domestic brands.

India’s ability to produce spirits comparable to and even exceeding international standards has been highlighted by the global recognition of Indri Single Malt Whisky.
As a matter of fact, Indri Founder’s Reserve 11 YO Wine Cask was ranked 8th among the “Top 15 Whiskies of the Year”. The whiskies that ranked higher were all older than 22 years, demonstrating their quality.
Last year, Whyte & Mackay started to distribute Indri whisky in the UK via a new distribution agreement, which will allow UK consumers to enjoy Dru and Trini and limited volumes of Diwali.
