Glenmorangie Unveils 13-Year-Old Moscatel Casked Whisky
The good news: Glenmorangie has released Glenmorangie 13 Year Old Moscatel Cask – a 13-year-old whisky aged in Moscatel dessert wine casks. The bad news: it will only be available in Australia and New Zealand.
Glenmorangie 13 Year Old Moscatel Cask, as its name suggests, was matured in Moscatel casks, bottled at 48.2% alcohol by volume [96.4 proof] and is said to offer notes of apple, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.
As previously mentioned, Glenmorangie 13 year Old Moscatel Cask is only being made available in Australia and New Zealand [with no worldwide release currently scheduled] for $100 per bottle.
