The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Adds More Stops
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail has added 10 new stops to their tour, bringing it to a grand total of 68 stops ranging throughout the state of Kentucky.
The newest additions are: Dark Arts Whiskey House, LF Heritage Distilling, J Mattingly 1845 Distillery, Chicken Cock Whiskey Circa 1856, Green River, Left Bank Distilling Co, a pair of WhistlePig stops, General George Stillhouse and Purple Toad Winery & Distillery.
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour was established in 1999 by Kentucky Distillers’ Association (KDA) and annually draws more than 2.5 million visitors each year from all 50 states and international countries. According to the KDA, nearly 80% of Bourbon Trail visitors are from outside the state of Kentucky.
The KDA is also developing a new online tool – ‘Build Your Own Bourbon Trail’ – which is hoped will allow visitors to create and share personalized itineraries with their friends.
