Spirits Giants Brown-Forman And Sazerac Reportedly In Talks

Kentucky-based spirits giants Brown-Forman and Sazerac have reportedly entered into exploratory talks – though neither company has confirmed or denied the potential development.

Brown-Forman’s portfolio includes such popular brands as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Woodford Reserve Bourbon while Sazerac owns the Buffalo Trace distillery along with popular brands George T Stagg and Eagle Rare. Sazerac also owns Southern Comfort liqueur (which had been previously owned by Brown-Forman), Sazerac De Forge Cognac and Paul Masson brandy.

Both spirits companies are headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
