Bardstown Bourbon Finishes In The Red

Bardstown Bourbon has collaborated with The Prisoner Wine Company in California to ultimately release Bardstown Bourbon – The Prisoner, finished in The Prisoner’s red wine barrels.

The Bardstown Bourbon Company & The Prisoner Wine Company Collaboration has nine-year-old Tennessee bourbon finished for 18 months in French oak red wine barrels, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to contain notes of blackberries, honey and vanilla.

The Bardstown Bourbon Company & The Prisoner Wine Company Collaboration will be made available in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee in January 2020 for $125 per 750ml bottle. Additionally, the bourbon will be available in Colorado, Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, Texas and Washington D.C. later in 2020.
