Diamonds continue to be forever for Speyside-based The Macallan as they release their second limited edition single malt whisky as part of their affiliation with the iconic James Bond feature film franchise while celebrating 55 years since “Diamonds Are Forever” was released with Sean Connery in the 007 superspy role.
The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Edition was matured for 18 years in custom hybrid sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks, bottled at 45.5% alcohol by volume [91 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, cocoa, nutmeg and vanilla.
The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Edition is being made available exclusively via The Macallan official website [themacallan.com], The Macallan Estate Boutique and Heathrow Airport until February 17, 2026. After that date, it will be made available elsewhere in the UK and online for $820 per bottle.
