Out Of The Irish Mist Comes Whiskey

The newest kid on the honeyed whiskey liqueur block is not a liqueur but a whiskey – Irish Mist Whiskey. The new 80 proof [40% alcohol content] whiskey is a blend of four-year-old whiskies that have been triple-distilled and aged in American oak casks, said to deliver aromas ranging from vanilla to raisin to pear and spice to accompany the honey and toffee palate.

Irish Mist Whiskey will be available for $28.99 per 750ml bottle only in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Ohio beginning in March 2014.
