Talisker Distillery has released a limited edition 30-year-old single malt as part of the annual Special Releases collection from Diageo, which owns Talisker. Talisker 30-Year-Old was bottled at 49.8% alcohol by volume [99.6 proof] and is said to offer notes of pepper and smoke. Only 2,610 bottles of Talisker 30-Year-Old are being made available worldwide via selected retailers for $1,690 per bottle.
