Teeling Has Your Poitin Right Here, Buddy!

Irish whiskey producer Teeling, has released a new spirit drink called Irish Poitín, the Spirit of Dublin. The spirit drink is the first-produced spirit from Teeling’s new Dublin-based distillery – which began producing spirit in March 2015.

Poitín is a clear Irish spirit, famous for its alcohol strength – in this case, 52.5% alcohol by volume [105 proof] – and the Spirit of Dublin Irish Poitín is triple distilled in the distillery’s three copper pot stills and made from a traditional Dublin Pot Still recipe of unmalted and malted Irish barley, giving it a distinctively sweet cereal taste.

The Spirit of Dublin Irish Poitin is available in Ireland for $40 per bottle.
