Thatcher’s Has Haze From Somerset Instead Of Purple
Jimi Hendrix famously sung about a purple haze but Thatcher’s Cider has switched that to Somerset in launching their two new ciders – Somerset Haze and Red. Somerset Haze is a cloudy cider using Discovery, Falstaff, Gala and Jonagold [the one responsible for the haze] apples to produce its 4.5% alcohol content creation while the Red is a 4% alcohol content concoction that is a result of the Katy and Jonagold Red apple varieties.
Both Somerset Haze and Red are scheduled to appear in 2015 in bottles, cans and on draught.
