The stats show a surprising twist away from rums and beers toward whiskies. As consumers continue to fall in love with flavored spirits, the whisky culture sets new standards and only the best tastes continue to soar. The list has remained similar for many years, Some critics have expanded the list to 25 to create space for other whiskies. Nonetheless, most of these fall below the one million cases per year.

So, this is looking like an Indian list. OC sold 24.9 million cases in 2022. In 2015 this historic whisky, Officer’s Choice, overtook Smirnoff vodka to become the world’s largest selling spirit brand.

Pernod Ricard, India. The 2022 best whisky list is dominated by this distillery and this country. Royal Stag sold 24.9 million cases in 2022.

Also known as 1, this Indian whisky brand Sold 30.8 million cases in 2022, McDowell’s No. 1 is produced by United Spirits Limited (USL), a Diageo Group company.
