London-based Bimber Distillery has released seven whiskies – six of them from single casks.

The lone non-single cask release is Bimber’s Batch 001 Ex-Bourbon Oak Casks single malt, matured four years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, bottled at 51.8% alcohol by volume [103.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, green apple and pepper.

Only 1,948 bottles of Bimber batch 001 Ex-Bourbon Oak Casks single malt are being made available for $82 per 700ml bottle.

Of the remaining six single cask releases, three of the six single cask whiskies are being made available exclusively for the UK market – they are: Bimber Ex-Bourbon Cask #8 (58.3% alcohol by volume – 116.6 proof – for $100 per bottle); Bimber Virgin Cask #7 (57.8% alcohol by volume – 115.6 proof – for $105 per bottle) and Bimber Sherry Cask #42 (58.1% alcohol by volume – 116.2 proof – for $107 per bottle).

The other three single cask releases are being made available for export and comprise: Bimber Ex-Bourbon Cask #15 (58.1% alcohol by volume – 116.2 proof – for $105 per bottle); Bimber Virgin Cask #94 (57.4% alcohol by volume – 114.8 proof – for $105 per bottle) and Bimber Sherry Cask #41 (57.9% alcohol by volume – 115.8 proof – for $107 per bottle).

The number of bottles being made available for each single cask release ranges from 249 to 335 and the UK release date is June 9, 2020 while the export release date will be sometime in mid-June 2020.
