Bulleit Rye Reveals 20-Year-Old
Bulleit Distilling Company has released a limited edition 20-year-old straight rye version of Bulleit Frontier Whiskey – the oldest rye to date from the Diageo-owned distillery.
Bulleit 20-Year-Old Straight Rye was created using uses Bulleit’s 95% rye mashbill – distilled in Indiana and aged in Kentucky – before being bottled at an eye-watering 68.5% alcohol by volume [137 proof], with the rye being said to contain notes of fruit, oak and “warm” spice.
Bulleit also salutes the Independence Day holiday weekend with only 1,776 bottles – an acknowledgement of USA’s upcoming 250th birthday -of Bulleit 20-Year-Old Straight Rye being made available for $300 per bottle.
