Stella Artois Taps Into Water.org With Matt Damon
It is that time of year again – Super Bowl Ad time – and Stella Artois has decided to take a different approach to this year’s event by turning the spotlight from them toward clean water shortages around the world.
The 30-second spot (below) is called “Taps” and features actor Matt Damon, who is the co-founder of Water.org.
Through April 15,2018, each purchase of a Stella Artois beer or Stella Artois Cidre 12-pack (bottles or cans) will go to help Water.org provide 12 months of clean water for one person in the developing world. Each purchase of a pint or bottle of the brand at a bar will help provide one month of clean water. Each purchase of a limited-edition Stella Artois Chalice will help provide five years of clean water for one person in the developing world.
Stella Artois has helped provide more than one million people with access to five years of clean water, through the sale of more than 500,000 limited-edition Stella Artois chalices and through direct donations of more than $8 million to Water.org. The countries on the receiving end of the assistance include Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa and Uruguay.
