West Cork Debuts Stout-Laced Whiskey
Ireland’s West Cork Distillers have released a blended Irish whiskey finished in casks that previously held Blacks of Kinsale Stout.
West Cork Distillers’ Stout Cask Irish Whiskey was made with a 75:25 blend of grain and malt Irish whiskies, then was finished for six months in the Blacks of Kinsale’s stout barrels and is said to contain notes of dark chocolate, coffee, raisins and vanilla.
Only 9,400 bottles of West Cork Distillers Stout Cask Irish Whiskey is being made available for $32 per bottle across the USA.
