Bud Light Seltzer Gets Into Post Malone’s Brain For The Super Bowl
Bud Light Seltzer will be pitting two new ads starring hip hop musical artist Post Malone against each other in an online voting contest that will determine which ad the viewers want to see played during the Super Bowl broadcast.
Both ads – titled #Posty Store and #Posty Bar – are reminiscent of the “sperm” scene in Woody Allen’s 1972 “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex* that depicts the brain as a control center coordinating action with other parts of the body.
In the #PostyBar ad, we see the reaction, for example, of little red-suited men identified as Malone’s taste buds as he samples a bit of mango-flavored seltzer he was served by a bartender. This receives WC’s vote.
The “winning” ad will play in the third quarter of the game.
