Russell’s Reserve Goes To Camp Nelson F
After first visiting Camp Nelson C, Russell’s Reserve Bourbon is going to the Camp Nelson F warehouse for the second installment in their Single Rickhouse Collection.
Russell’s Reserve Camp Nelson F is from Camp Nelson Rickhouse F, which was built in the 1940s and sits lower than other rickhouses on the grounds as well as closer to the nearby Kentucky River. For this release, barrels were selected from floors four and five of the seven-story building.
Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson F is Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at a barrel proof of 58.5% alcohol by volume [117 proof], said to offer notes of caramel, clove, orange and white pepper and is being made available for $300 per bottle.
