Kavalan Whisky Distillery Goes to Whisky Live Paris Festival
Taiwanese distillery, Kavalan, has joined tons of whisky brands that will showcase their products at the Whisky Live Paris. The whisky festival will run from October 21 – 23, 2023.
After a gear sabbatical due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Whisky Live Paris will unleash hundreds of whisky expressions to visitors. The Kavalan brand will boast some of its rarest and most recent spirits to the French.
All visitors can taste the essence of Kavalan spirits during the celebration. Access will include tasting sessions, booth showcase, and whisky sales.
Kavalan Talks Whisky Live Paris
According to Aurora Chang, Kavalan Regional Manager, there has been an upbid or resurgence of the French whisky market. She told a group of trade officials that the show would become a stepping stone for the market. She said:
“Throughout the pandemic, Kavalan strategically boosted sales with cocktails-friendly options like the Kavalan Distillery Select series. Additionally, the premium Solist cask strength whiskies addressed supply challenges in the Japanese whisky market. As we approach the final stages of our Third Maturation Warehouse, reflecting our dedication to quality and expansion, Kavalan stands ready and optimistic about meeting the growing global demands.”
However, Kavalan is already well-represented throughout Europe. Kavalan’s European distributor La Maison du Whisky exists for such occasions and spares no efforts to produce the best quality. Kavalan ambassador to Europe, Didier Ghorbanzadeh, said:
“When experiencing Kavalan’s whiskies for the first time, the surprising maturity, despite its youth, is attributed to the unique tropical aging conditions in Taiwan. This distinct characteristic sets it apart from the single malts we already distribute in Europe.
“While diverse oak influences (sherry, wine, etc.) are beautifully expressed with intense aromas, Kavalan is distinct for its explosive tropical fruit flavors on the midpalate and finish, offering refreshing purity to balance the oak’s influence.”
Kavalan Distillery will appear in all the Whisky Live shows this year.
