Wait…Isn’t Every Wednesday “Whiskey Wednesday”?

If you live on the East Coast of the USA and you were thinking of making a run at the gift store in Mount Vernon just in case you got lucky and snagged one of those George Washington Rye Whiskey bottles, chances are, you may have already had a Plan B in mind. However, in the event your Plan B doesn’t sound as good as it may have when you originally concocted it late on a Saturday night, there’s always Whiskey Wednesday in nearby Baltimore to consider after you take your stab at scoring some of GW’s rye. Starting today, a bar called Johnny’s will offer four half-ounce premium whiskies for a mere $25, plus some good whiskey accompaniment foods. The first WW will highlight American whiskies – corn, wheat, rye and barley.

Whiskey Wednesdays at Johnny’s [4800 Roland Avenue] in Baltimore will continue with pours on April 17 and May 1, 2013.
