Smokehead has released their Smokehead Rum Rebel – an Islay whisky finished in a Caribbean rum cask to celebrate International Rum Day on Sunday, August 16. After finishing, Smokehead Rum Rebel was then bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of salt, spice and rum-inspired sweetness. Smokehead Rum Rebel is being made available for $72 per bottle.
