Glasgow Distillery has released their second peated single malt whisky – Glasgow 1770 Peated Rich & Smoky. Glasgow 1770 Peated Rich & Smoky has been matured in virgin oak, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of smoke, toffee and vanilla. Glasgow 1770 Peated Rich & Smoky is being made available for $63 per bottle.

Islay-based Smokehead whisky has revived their “Frankenshake” Halloween-themed cocktail from the dead for this upcoming Halloween weekend. But the Frankenshake is merely the tip of the spooky Halloween cocktail iceberg – Smokehead has collaborated with partner bars to create their Freakishly Tasting Halloween Cocktail range, which include the Killer Kimchi, Don’t Bite Snow White as well as the Frankenshake.
